What is Double glazed

Double glazed windows are windows that are made up of two panes of glass within the same window frame. Between the two panes of glass is a gap that can be anywhere from 6mm to 12mm wide. The gap is filled with standard air or it can be filled with a special gas such as argon. Double glazing can be fitted to many different types of windows including sliding, open able, curtain wall, double hung, fixed, and more.
